Downloading
In most but not all cases, within a minute or two, you should get an email with the link to download your book. However, this is totally dependent on how long it takes for your email to arrive. As I said, in most cases you will get it in a couple of minutes, sometimes, immediately. But, I have seen cases where an email did not come through for an hour or more. I check the purchase logs occassionaly and if I note that someone paid but did not download I will follow up with a personal email to find out why.
The frequency of these kinds of trouble does not appear to be more than a few percent, but I am interested in reducing them to zero.
Lost Download
Some buyers are unfamiliar with downloading and have lost their file. Either because they never finished saving it to disk or because they lost the file name in the clutter of their thousands of other disk files. I want you to get what you paid for, so be careful to save the download and where you can find it again.
Add to Cart or View Cart Button
Once in a while someone's browser won't take you to the checkout when you activate one of the buttons. Try, right click with the mouse and choose open in new tab.
This is generally a problem with a browser setting. If the right click trick doesn't work, try another browser or on another machine. If you can't resolve this, you can phone; if I am around I'll give you a hand right on the spot +1-503-694-5267. If not send an email.
Updates
Updates where offered can be downloaded using the original link. Generally you will have 2 months to download the latest copy.
